Paycom: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Paycom Software Inc. (PAYC) on Tuesday reported second-quarter earnings of $35.7 million.
On a per-share basis, the Oklahoma City-based company said it had profit of 61 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 59 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 10 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 49 cents per share.
The maker of human-resources and payroll software posted revenue of $128.8 million in the period, which also topped Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $124.5 million.
For the current quarter ending in October, Paycom said it expects revenue in the range of $129 million to $131 million.
The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $554 million to $556 million.
Paycom shares have climbed 32 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $106.25, a climb of 52 percent in the last 12 months.
