Five Found Dead in Kansas City Home
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ Five decomposing bodies were found in a Kansas City home today, and police were searching for a 56-year-old man who lived there.
The man was last seen on yesterday. When asked whether the man was a suspect, police spokesman Floyd Mitchell said, ``We’re concerned about his well-being.″
Three of the bodies were found on the main floor and two in the basement of the one-story home, located in near the city’s Westport entertainment district. Police said the bodies had not been identified, and the cause of death had not been determined.
A neighbor, Stephanie Wymore, 41, said she heard what sounded like gun shots Friday morning and that there had been no activity in the house since then.
``Nobody’s come in, nobody’s gone out,″ she said. ``There’s been nothing.″
A neighbor, Judy Vigler, 59, said the home had been occupied for about 14 years by two men, a father and stepson, both limousine drivers.
