Glaukos: 3Q Earnings Snapshot
SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. (AP) _ Glaukos Corp. (GKOS) on Wednesday reported a third-quarter loss of $6.6 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The San Clemente, California-based company said it had a loss of 19 cents per share.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 14 cents per share.
The glaucoma treatments developer posted revenue of $43.9 million in the period, which beat Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $40.3 million.
Glaukos expects full-year revenue in the range of $175 million to $177 million.
Glaukos shares have more than doubled since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $61.74, an increase of 96 percent in the last 12 months.
