NEW YORK (AP) _ Rich Dominguez scored 17 points and John Thomas had 14 as St. Francis, N.Y., pulled away in the second half to beat Sacred Heart 76-61 on Thursday night.

St. Francis (4-2) has won three in a row and Sacred Heart (3-6) has lost three straight.

Ralph Ouriantal added 11 points for the Terriers.

Louis Frye of the Pioneers had 20 points and Mike Forde added 15 points.

The Terriers, behind Marcel Dimbeng’s 10 rebounds, had a 53-29 edge on the boards.

After Andy Hunter’s jumper pulled Sacred Heart to 46-45 with 13:53 to play, the home team gradually pulled away to a 71-57 advantage with 4:08 remaining. Thomas had 10 points, including two 3-pointers, during the 25-12 run.
