North Leominster’s Bail Honored at Fenway for Fundraising Efforts
BOSTON -- This summer, North Leominster’s Brendan Bail raised more than $1,100 as one of the top fundraisers in the 2018 Jimmy Fund Little League season, which collectively raised more than $250,000 from throughout New England to support patient care and cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
In honor of his fundraising success, Bail was given tickets to Sunday’s major league baseball game at Fenway Park between the Boston Red Sox and New York Mets. Bail was scheduled to be honored during a pre-game ceremony at Fenway’s Champions Club and recognized during the game on the center field Jumbotron.
Since its inception in 1987, Jimmy Fund Little League has raised more than $5 million for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
