Threats to ‘blow up’ Havasu bar land man in jail

March 11, 2019

Threats to blow up a Lake Havasu City bar resulted in misdemeanor charges for a Lake Havasu City man.

Police say Steven Ray Radley Jr., 45, of Havasu, called a bartender at The Office Cocktail Lounge and threatened to “blow the bar up.”

According to police reports, Radley had been involved in an argument with customers at the bar earlier in the day. She told him he had to leave the bar because he started yelling and cursing at her, the report said.

He left, but later called the bar and said “I’m going to blow you up, I’m going to blow you all up.”

Police say Radley was arrested on March 3, booked into Lake Havasu City Jail on misdemeanor charges of threats and disorderly conduct. The report says he admitted to police that he wrote a Facebook post stating he wanted to “blow this place up,” but said he would never do something like that.
