No. 2 Old Dominion 79, William & Mary 36

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) _ Nyree Roberts had 17 points and 17 rebounds, and second-ranked Old Dominion never trailed en route to a 79-36 victory Sunday over intrastate rival William & Mary.

Mery Andrade added 18 points and Clarisse Machanguana had 17 for the Lady Monarchs, who took a 3-0 lead. Old Dominion allowed a single basket before scoring the next 18 points for an insurmountable 21-3 advantage.

The Lady Monarchs (13-1, 3-0 Colonial Athletic Association) scored enough points in the first half to win the game. Old Dominion led 47-22 at intermission.

Old Dominion shot 52 percent from the floor but went 0-11 from 3-point range.

William & Mary (3-9, 0-4) shot a dismal 26 percent and had no player in double figures. Reserve Lisa LaMonte led the Tribe with 8 points.
