FOXBORO -- Patriots running back Rex Burkhead appeared to be limited at the beginning of the team’s practice Thursday.

Burkhead was listed as a non-participant in Wednesday’s session due to a concussion.

He abstained from certain positional drills Thursday.

It’s unclear when Burkhead suffered the concussion. He finished the game against the Texans, carrying 18 times for 64 yards.

The Pats had perfect practice attendance for the second straight day.

Rookie running back Sony Michel participated in positional drills. Media did not see any team drills.

Michel sat out of New England’s season-opening win as he dealt with a knee injury. He spoke with reporters Wednesday, granting his first interview since suffering the injury.

“I’m doing all I can do to prepare,” Michel said. “Whatever coach’s plan is, I don’t know what his plan is, but my mindset is prepare as if I’m playing (in Week 2).”
