A Wednesday night traffic stop lead to the arrest of a Norfolk woman on drug charges.
Capt. Mike Bauer with the Norfolk Police Division said an officer pulled over a vehicle for failure to use a turn signal at 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of First Street and Northwestern Avenue.
The officer had contact with the driver, Crystal Wieneke, 41.
A check of Wieneke’s license showed it was currently suspended, and she was placed under arrest for driving under suspension.
In a subsequent search of the vehicle, officers recovered a small bag of white powder that tested positive for cocaine.
