DURHAM, N.C. (AP) _ Spencer Romine passed for two touchdowns and helped set up another score with his running to lead Duke to a 26-17 victory over Navy on Saturday.

Sims Lenhardt kicked four field goals for Duke (2-2), including a career best 50-yarder. He also had field goals of 43, 38 and 29 yards to help the Blue Devils to their second straight win.

Duke never trailed in winning consecutive games for the first time in two years. Last week’s 20-17 victory over Army broke a 15-game losing streak.

Navy (2-2) got 1-yard touchdown runs from quarterback Chris McCoy and fullback Tim Canada. McCoy needs one more TD to tie Napoleon McCallum’s school record of 31.

McCoy was the game’s leading rusher with 76 yards on 16 carries out of Navy’s triple-option attack. Navy totaled 249 yards on 49 rushes.

Halfback Letavious Wilks led Duke with 68 yards on 15 carries.

Navy closed to within a touchdown of Duke at 23-17 with 5:16 left in the game after McCoy set up a 28-yard field goal by Tom Vanderhorst with a 46-yard pass to wingback Pat McGrew.

Romine opened the scoring with a 20-yard touchdown pass to Richmond Flowers with 4:05 left in the first quarter.

Navy tied the game at 7-7 with an 82-yard drive on 11 consecutive rushes capped by McCoy’s 1-yard keeper.

Romine answered with a 41-yard touchdown throw to Corey Thomas, giving Duke a 14-7 lead. Thomas finished with 82 yards from three catches.

Lenhardt’s 50-yard field goal with 2 seconds left in the half gave Duke a 17-7 lead.

Canada’s 1-yard touchdown run with 5:50 left in the third quarter cut the Duke lead to 17-14.

Romine scampered 20 yards late in the third quarter to set up Lenhardt’s 29-yard field goal that gave Duke a 20-14 lead. Lenhardt’s 43-yard field goal made the lead 23-14 with 8:03 left.

Romine was 11-of-19 for 151 yards, with one interception.
