Tewksbury Man Killed in Saugus Crash Identified

TEWKSBURY -- Police have identified the man killed in the single-vehicle crash in Saugus on Tuesday as 47-year-old Dana Campo of Tewksbury.

Campo suffered severe injuries after his Dodge Ram pickup truck rolled over in the area of 407 Main St. at around 11 a.m., according to a Saugus Police Department press release.

First responders were forced to use hydraulic tools to extricate Campo from his vehicle, police said. He was then rushed by ambulance to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Campo’s name was not immediately released to the public pending the notification of next of kin.

The crash remains under investigation by the Saugus Police Department with the assistance from the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
