Hill-Rom: Fiscal 3Q Earnings Snapshot
CHICAGO (AP) _ Hill-Rom Holdings Inc. (HRC) on Friday reported fiscal third-quarter earnings of $32.6 million.
The Chicago-based company said it had net income of 48 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for costs related to mergers and acquisitions and non-recurring costs, came to $1.23 per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.21 per share.
The medical equipment maker posted revenue of $726.8 million in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $719.4 million.
For the current quarter ending in September, Hill-Rom expects its per-share earnings to range from $1.64 to $1.66.
The company expects full-year earnings in the range of $5.03 to $5.05 per share.
Hill-Rom shares have climbed 22% since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 16% in the last 12 months.
