WASHINGTON (AP) — Anthony Rendon’s bat led the Washington Nationals to an 11-2 romp over the Tampa Bay Rays in the Nation’s Capital today. Rendon celebrated his 28th birthday with four hits and three runs batted in as the Nats swept the two-game series. The Nationals have won 11 of their last 15 games.

Carrasco struck out 10 and allowed one run in seven innings. He’s now 7-4 on the season.

The win gave the Orioles a sweep a two-game interleague series. Dylan Bundy pitched seven scoreless innings for the Orioles.
