Dec. 18, 1918: Mystery Surrounds Identity of Man Who Was Hurt Last Night and Trails of Blood

Dec. 18, 1968: Northern New Mexico — color it white.

A thick blanket of snow fell over the entire area Tuesday night bringing sub-freezing temperatures with it, slowing traffic on streets and highways and providing adequate levels for northern New Mexico ski basin openings.

Dec. 18, 1993: Seventh-graders Whitney McAlees and Maria Anderson want to put a stop to the hurtful teasing, taunting and touching that go on in the hallways of Capshaw and other local junior high schools.

Sexual harassment among students, the girls say, is an everyday occurrence, and jokes, gesture and references to sexual acts and girls’ anatomy are especially common.
