Police charge Pelion man in connection with 2017 burglary in Salley
A Pelion man was charged Wednesday in connection with a 2017 burglary on Poole Road in Salley.
Nicholas Adam Day, 21, is charged with two counts of third-degree burglary and two counts of receiving stolen goods, jail records show.
On May 29, 2017, a 71-year-old Salley woman called police claiming someone had stolen several items from a shed outside her property on Poole Road, according to the report.
The victim told deputies her mower and weed eater had both been taken without her permission, police reported.
Following an investigation, Day was arrested Wednesday and taken to the Aiken County detention center, where he was still being held Friday afternoon.
