Pentatonix announces San Antonio concert date
A cappella stars Pentatonix will play the AT&T Center on May 23.
Tickets go on sale at noon Feb. 15 online at attcenter.com and ticketmaster.com, and by phone at 800-745-3000. Members of Pentatonix’s Patreon can buy tickets beginning at 10 a.m. Monday.
Rachel Platten, the singer best known for her 2015 hit “Fight Song,” will open the concert.
Pentatonix, which hails from Arlington, won the third season of NBC’s talent show “The Sing-Off” in 2011. The group caught the wave of popularity for a cappella singing generated by the TV series “Glee” and then the “Pitch Perfect” movies and has never looked back. Reaching fans mostly through social media and streaming services, they have released nine Top 10 EPs and albums in the last six years.
Pentatonix played the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo in 2015.
