Goodwin firm donates $10,000 to support Lily’s Place campaign

HUNTINGTON — Last month, Lily’s Place unveiled a new community engagement project called the #Birthday-BoxChallenge, and now Goodwin & Goodwin LLP has partnered with the local nonprofit to fund this initiative.

Those who participate in the challenge agree to “donate” their birthday by fundraising on social media and among friends and family. In exchange, they receive a specially curated birthday box, which arrives free of charge. The Goodwin Firm recently contributed $10,000 to support the Lily’s Place campaign.

Lily’s Place is a Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) center, providing medical and therapeutic care to infants with prenatal drug exposure, while offering nonjudgmental services to families.

“Lily’s Place is a pioneer in providing medical care to infants suffering from Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) and offering non-judgmental support services to caregivers,” said Rebecca Crowder, executive director of Lily’s Place, in a news release. “We have been fortunate to have received tremendous support from the community, and we hope this initiative will continue to raise awareness for babies with NAS and their families.”
