WVC BASEBALL ROUNDUP: 10-run First Powers Warriors

At The Atlas Complex, Wyoming Area scored 10 runs in the bottom of the first inning, and took advantage of 12 walks in a 15-0 win over GAR.

Seth Kopcza allowed three hits in his four innings of work to pick up the win. He struck out six and did not walk a batter. Cole Coolbaugh had a double for Wyoming Area, while Charlie Alfano and Caleb Graham each had a single.

Noah Taylor, Kam Taylor and Jared O’Day all had singles for GAR.

At Nanticoke Area, Devland Heffron had four hits and scored two runs, while Trahjan Krupinski and Dylan Szychowski each homered to lead Nanticoke Area.

Derek Cease had three hits and scored three runs for the Trojans. Devyn Sura pitched three innings of relief to get the win.

Todd Phillips had two hits including a triple for Wyoming Seminary. Frankie Nockley drove in two runs, while Jackson Amend had two hits, one of them a double.
