Police: Driver involved in Sandwich crash dies
SANDWICH, Mass. (AP) — Police say a man severely injured in a car crash in Sandwich last week has died.
Chief Peter Wack tells the Cape Cod Times (http://bit.ly/1M6gdeE ) that 62-year-old Kenneth Raymond of Barnstable died over the weekend after being involved in a head-on crash on Route 130 last Thursday.
Raymond died at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where he had been flown after the crash. Two other people were seriously injured in the crash.
Police say Raymond was driving south in a pickup when it crossed the centerline and struck a northbound Jeep.
The two occupants of the Jeep were also taken to the hospital, but Wack did not have an update on their conditions.
The crash remains under investigation.
