Measles vaccination clinics announced in Palatine
CHICAGO (AP) — Health officials have set up two vaccination clinics for people in Chicago’s northwest suburbs who may have been exposed to measles.
The Cook County Department of Public Health announced Monday it will hold clinics Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and March 10 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at All Saints Lutheran Church in Palatine.
Officials say people who do not know their measles vaccination status can get free vaccine.
The health department has said people who were at LaRosita Laundromat on East Dundee Road in Palatine the morning of Feb. 16 and at the Vista Clinic on North Rand Road in Palatine on Feb. 19 may have been exposed.
People who were at Northwest Community Resource Center in Palatine on Feb. 19 also may have been exposed.
