GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) _ Federal aviation officials and University of Florida police are searching for the pilot who buzzed a stadium during a football game in a vintage B-25.

The World War II-era bomber made an ''extremely low-level pass'' over Florida Field during the first quarter of the game Saturday, said Lt. Robert Hester of the University of Florida Police Department.

About 73,000 people were watching the Florida-Kentucky football game at the time, said Hester, who said he did not know the plane's altitude when it passed over the field.
