Alliance Public Library to offer free basic computer skills class

ALLIANCE — In an effort to encourage computer literacy, the Alliance Public Library will offer a basic computer skills class on Thursday, May 23, from 1-5 p.m. The class is best suited for individuals with little to no computer experience. Topics include turning a computer on and off, operating a mouse and keyboard, accessing the internet and setting up email. The presentation will be on the Windows 10 operating system. Participants may bring their own laptops or use a computer provided by the library.

The class will be in Community Room A of the Alliance Learning Center at 1750 Sweetwater Ave. and is provided free of charge courtesy of the Alliance Public Library. Space is limited to six participants. To reserve a seat, contact the library at 308-762-1387.
