Teen girl arrested in burglary at Frost’s home

Lincoln police have arrested a teenager in the burglary last month at the home of Husker football coach Scott Frost.A 17-year-old girl was interviewed and one pair of shoes stolen from the home was recovered, according to a news release from the Lincoln Police Department. The girl was arrested on suspicion of burglary.Officer Angela Sands, spokeswoman for the department, said football helmets, more shoes and artwork also were reported stolen July 29 and have not been recovered. She said the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are possible.Initially, championship rings were reported stolen, but police said last month that Frost found them.Frost’s home is being renovated, and it appears entry was gained through an unlocked door, police said last month. The home was unoccupied.In a statement last month, Frost described the incident at his home as “obviously very disappointing and discouraging. ”
