Gardeners will learn about food preservation

JUNEAU -- The Dodge County Master Gardener Association will meet Thursday, Aug. 23, at 6:30 p.m. in the Dodge County Administration Building auditorium, 127 E. Oak St., Juneau.

This month’s presentation will be “Food Preservation Inspiration” by Becky Gutzman, a Columbia County Master Gardener volunteer and retired food preservation specialist for the University of Wisconsin-Extension. Gutzman will provide updates on methods and tips for success in preserving foods.

The program is free and open to gardeners of all levels of experience and skill. Participants will also become familiar with the Master Gardener program and meet others with gardening interests.
