CHICAGO (AP) _ Bulls forward Eddie Robinson was activated Tuesday after missing all but three games this year with a sore left big toe.

Robinson was expected to play Tuesday night against the Charlotte Hornets, his old team. The Bulls also placed guard A.J. Guyton on the injured list with bursitis in his left elbow.

Signed as a free agent last August, Robinson averaged 11.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in eight preseason games. But he missed the first four games because of his toe.

He made his season debut Nov. 10 _ also against the Hornets _ and finished with 17 points, six rebounds and a career-high four steals in 37 minutes. He played two more games, averaging 13.7 points and 5.3 rebounds, before going on the injured list.

Guyton is averaging 4.4 points and 1.2 assists in 15 games this year. He scored a season-high 14 points in 16 minutes Dec. 1 against Philadelphia.
