Authorities ID man killed in crash involving truck, 2 semis
WILLISON, N.D. (AP) — The Highway Patrol has identified an Alexander man who died when the pickup truck he was driving was caught between two semitrailers in a construction area in Williams County.
Authorities say 58-year-old Terry Lynn died at the scene Monday afternoon on U.S. Highway 85, about 4 miles south of Williston.
The patrol says the pickup and the semi ahead of it started to slow due to construction, and the second semi struck the pickup, pushed it into the back of the first semi and came to rest on the top of the truck.
The driver of the second semi suffered unknown injuries. The driver of the first semi wasn’t hurt.
