ROXBURY -- David Gardner set a Lunenburg High School record in the 600-meter run to lead the Blue Knights boys’ track team at Saturday’s MSTCA Speed Classic at the Reggie Lewis Center.

Gardner finished the race in 1:24.94, and was also part of the 4x200-meter relay team that finished in 1:40.06. Also running well was Brady Iovanni, one of the few eighth-graders to qualify for Saturday’s meet, who made his Reggie Lewis debut in the 55-meter hurdles.

Other top runners for Lunenburg included Nick Hall, who set a personal record with a time of 7.09 seconds in the 55-meter dash; Nick Hunting, tied his fastest time of the year at 7.14 seconds (fully automatic timing) in the 55-meter dash; and Robbie Nash and Seamus Gordon, who each set a personal record in the 300 meters at 41.58 and 41.81 seconds, respectively.
