Undated (AP) _ Keen Response rallied from last in a field of 10 fillies and mares to capture the $10,500 Drum Top Purse contested over the grass course Tuesday at Pimlico Race Course.

Carrying jockey Mario Pino, Keen Response threaded her way through rivals to complete 1 1-16 miles in 1:42 4-5.

Roman Holiday finished two lengths back in second and more than four lengths before Favorite Medic.

Keen Response paid $4, $2.60 and $2.60 as the favorite.

Roman Holiday returned $3.60 and $3.20 and Favorite Medic was worth $4.40 to show.

After losing the lead to even-money favorite Log Creek near the furlong pole, Bid Made closed fast to win by 11/4 -lengths in the $13,700 Providential II purse at Hawthorne.

The race was part of the summer meeting originally scheduled at Arlington Park, which was destroyed by fire several weeks ago. Races have been moved to Hawthorne.

Nice Touch took third in the 1 116th mile race shifted from the turf course because of early morning rains.

The dirt course was fast, and Bid Made carried Randy Romero home in 1:46 for the jockey’s third victory of the day. Bid Made paid $10, $4.60 and $2.80. Prices on Log Creek were $2.60 and $2.40. Nice Touch returned $2.80. ---

Lady Maja assumed command after the start and posted a one-length victory in a $10,500 allowance race for fillies and mares at Ellis Park.

The winner, owned by James Cozine, was clocked in 1:37 for the mile and returned $32.40, $9.20 and $4.80.

Count the Hours, the runner-up, returned $3.80 and $3.40 while Far From Home paid $6.40 to show.
