Lowell Police Search for Home Invasion Suspect

September 1, 2018

LOWELL -- Police are searching for a Lowell man wanted in an early Friday morning armed home invasion and stabbing on Manchester Street.

According to Capt. Paul Laferriere, Johnny He, 28, allegedly broke into 26 Manchester St. about 4:50 a.m. and stabbed a 25-year-old man several times.

The victim is the current boyfriend of He’s ex-girlfriend, police said.

Police said the victim and his girlfriend were awakened by a noise and then confronted by He, who police said stabbed the victim several times before fleeing the scene. Police believe He gained entry by pushing an air conditioner unit out of a window.

The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with information about He’s whereabouts is asked to call the Lowell Police Department at 978-937-3200 or 978-459-TIPS (8477).
