MILWAUKEE (AP) _ Catcher Raul Casanova agreed to a one-year contract with the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday.

Casanova, 28, split last season between Triple-A Indianapolis and Milwaukee, where he bated .247 with 36 RBIs and six home runs, including two grand slams.

Free agent outfielder James Mouton, 31, agreed to a minor league contract that would pay him $300,000 if he makes the major league roster. He batted .233 with the Brewers and missed the final two weeks of the season after having surgery on his right wrist.
