Hanmi Financial: 4Q Earnings Snapshot
LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Hanmi Financial Corp. (HAFC) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $11.4 million.
The Los Angeles-based bank said it had earnings of 37 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for pretax expenses, came to 46 cents per share.
The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 51 cents per share.
The bank holding company posted revenue of $68.3 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $51.9 million, also falling short of Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $52 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $57.9 million, or $1.81 per share. Revenue was reported as $205.5 million.
Hanmi Financial shares have increased slightly more than 5 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $20.76, a decrease of 35 percent in the last 12 months.
