An artist’s eye: Somerset senior paints the courthouse

August 1, 2018

Christine Troll, 16, Somerset, took one look at the Somerset County Courthouse and knew she wanted to draw it. When asked how long it took, she answered, “I stopped counting at 11 hours.” On Tuesday she presented her artwork to Sheriff Brad Cramer. She said she picked the sheriff’s office because it seemed appropriate. She picked the courthouse because she believes it is the most significant building in her hometown. The senior plans to go into art therapy.
