I-95 lanes reopen after multi-vehicle crash

A multi-vehicle crash has closed two lanes of I-95 south in Milford Friday morning.
The accident, reported ar 11:34 a.m. has closed the left and center lanes between Exits 34 and 32.
The crash is just past the Bridgeport Avenue (Route 1) exit.
There are more than two miles of southbound delays start at the Milford Connector and continue across the Moses Wheeler Bridge.
Average speed is 21 mph, according to the state Department of Transportation.
Drivers seeking an alternate route are taking the Milford Connector to the Merritt Parkway.
The increased traffic is causing southbound slowdowns past the Sikorsky Memorial Bridge in Stratford to Route 8 in Trumbull.
