American Outdoor Brands: Fiscal 1Q Earnings Snapshot
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) _ American Outdoor Brands Co. (AOBC) on Thursday reported a fiscal first-quarter loss of $2.1 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Springfield, Massachusetts-based company said it had a loss of 4 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 3 cents per share.
The firearm maker posted revenue of $123.7 million in the period.
For the current quarter ending in November, American Outdoor Brands expects its per-share earnings to range from 3 cents to 7 cents.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $140 million to $150 million for the fiscal second quarter.
American Outdoor Brands expects full-year earnings in the range of 70 cents to 78 cents per share, with revenue ranging from $630 million to $650 million.
American Outdoor Brands shares have dropped 40% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $7.68, a drop of 24% in the last 12 months.
