Montana medical facilities announce construction plans
Medical facilities in two Montana towns have announced plans for new buildings.
Bozeman Health plans to begin work this summer on a $20 million clinic while Providence Montana announced it will break ground on a multi-million dollar medical office in Missoula this fall.
Bozeman Health says its new building will offer primary care services including family medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics. Spokeswoman Lauren Brendel says the clinic will also have a gastroenterologist and plans other services.
Providence Montana chief executive Joyce Dombrouski says the new building in Missoula will house an outpatient surgery center and other service lines and clinics. She says moving some of the services out of St. Patrick’s Hospital will help the hospital accommodate growing inpatient needs. Construction could take up to four years.
