Beaver Dam Police Beat: Dec. 12-16, 2018
Trespassing — At 11:37 a.m. Wednesday, a man called police saying that he wanted to file a complaint for trespassing after he continued receiving a previous tenant’s subscription in the 100 block of Haskell Street.
Domestic issue — At 10:41 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a domestic issue between a man and a woman in the 100 block of Washington Street. The woman was cited for possessing drug paraphernalia and was advised to make a written statement if she wanted to man cited for disorderly conduct.
Fight — At 1:47 a.m. Thursday, police responded to a report of a woman and a man fighting in the 200 block of West Street. They were separated.
Suspicious behavior — At 2:33 a.m. Friday, a man reported another man pounding on the door at Moonlight, 436 Madison St. He was taken to jail for disorderly conduct.
Sexual assault — At 1:30 a.m. Saturday, police took a man into custody on a warrant following a sexual assault complaint.
Fight — At 4:20 a.m. Saturday, police responded to a report of a fight in the 100 block of Haskell Street and made contact with the suspects.
Noise complaint — At 10:50 a.m. Saturday, police received a report of a silver SUV driving back and forth with loud bass in the 600 block of Monroe Street.
Domestic issue — At 11:10 a.m. Saturday, police responded to a report of a domestic issue between a woman and a man in the 100 block of Knaup Drive.
Disorderly conduct — At 9:45 a.m. Sunday, police responded to a report of a threatening truck driver at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center, 115 Distribution Way. The man was escorted out with no charges and another employee was to pick up the trailer.
Neighbor dispute — At 4:44 p.m. Sunday, a woman reported a man was yelling and harassing neighbors in the 200 block of Haskell Street. Police mediated the civil issue.
Domestic disturbance — At 5:10 p.m. Sunday, police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance between a man and a woman in the 100 block of Rosendale Street.
Domestic disturbance — At 6:41 p.m. Sunday, police responded to a report of an argument between a man and a woman in the 200 block of East Mill Street. They were separated.
Harassment — At 7:13 p.m. Sunday, a woman reported ongoing harassment from a man. Police made contact with the man, who was uncooperative, and told him to stop contacting her. Later, she called back to say the man spit at her. The man was issued a citation for harassment but he refused to take the slip and told an officer to give it to his lawyer. An officer put the citation in his mailbox. The woman called back later to say the man was slamming doors and beating on the walls.
