Newcastle-Leicester delayed by safety issue
NEWCASTLE, England (AP) — Newcastle’s home match against Leicester in the Premier League has been delayed by an hour after part of a newly erected big screen was dislodged by wind at St. James’ Park.
Engineers were called in to deal with the 60-meter structure about 30 minutes before the scheduled kickoff of 3 p.m. (1400 GMT). Spectators were being kept out of the stadium Saturday while the repairs were made.
The new big screen had been erected during the two-week international break.
