CURE® Magazine Launches Canadian Edition
CRANBURY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov 20, 2018--CURE Media Group’s flagship product, CURE® magazine, which services over a million patients, survivors and caregivers dedicated to providing cancer updates, research and education, recently launched its first Canadian edition, announced Michael J. Hennessy Jr., president of MJH Associates Inc., parent company of CURE ® magazine.
“We are so thrilled to expand north and reach the Canadian audience. CURE® magazine is an amazing resource for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers, and now the magazine will be able to reach a new audience,” said Michael J. Hennessy., in making the announcement.
CURE® has teamed up with content editor Lisa Machado, founder of the Canadian CML Network, and director of business development Cheryl Petruk, chairperson for the Canadian MPN Research Foundation.
“Our own lived experience and work with patients and families have taught us three critical things: First, understanding your disease can mean the difference between living your best life and merely surviving; second, sharing authentic stories gives you power; and finally, people who understand your experience and can simply nod and say ‘I get it’ hold the key to moving forward,” the pair write in their first-ever editor’s note.
With a mission of informing and inspiring the many people affected by cancer, the magazine is proud to announce its expansion into the Canadian market. The publication — which is entirely focused on hematologic malignancies — features:Building an Army: Chimeric antigen receptor T-cell treatments inspire hope in patients with blood cancer. Walking Through “Fire and Ice.” Living with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. Harnessing the Power of Patients. And more.
In addition, the magazine offers news and updates on myeloproliferative neoplasms, smoldering myeloma, acute myeloid leukemia, lymphoma and survivorship.
