GHPRD to host outdoor movie night on Friday

August 7, 2018

HUNTINGTON — The Greater Huntington Park & Recreation District is celebrating inclusion by hosting an outdoor showing of the movie, Wonder. The even will take place Friday, August 10 at the Ritter Park Shelter 2. Visitors are encouraged to bring their blankets and chairs and come early to grab a seat. The movie will begin at dusk. Concessions will be available.

For residents arriving early, they will have the opportunity to learn about the new All-Inclusive Playground currently under construction at St. Cloud Commons. This playground has became a possibility because of the community’s help. The goal of this newly designed playground is to break down social barriers and provide opportunities where children of all ages play together, learn from one another, value differences and find strength to overcome challenges.

Movie night at Ritter Park is free to the public and fun for all ages! For additional information contact, GHPRD Development & Recreation Manager Lauren Carte at lcarte@ghprd.org or call 304-696-5954.
