16th edition of Katy Sip N Stroll set for Nov. 3 at Villagio Town Center

October 3, 2018

Touting itself as “Katy’s largest and most established wine and culinary festival,” organizers are ready to “pour for a purpose.”

Katy Sip N Stroll is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 3, at Villagio Town Center in the heart of Cinco Ranch. The bi-annual event offers more than 1,800 Katy locals a great evening enjoying and discovering culinary creations from 30-plus restaurants and food tasting stations, 150-plus wine selections and an extensive craft beer garden. Tickets are all-inclusive starting at $35 (General Admission, 6-9 p.m.) and $65 (VIP, 5-9 p.m.) at www.sipandstroll.com.

Sip N Stroll benefits The Ballard House, which offers no-cost housing for patients and their families who are in the Houston area receiving treatment for a life threatening illness. Having recovered from Hurricane Harvey last year, the shelter is currently expanding by adding 16 more guest suites, making Sip N Stroll ticket sales and sponsorships more timely than ever. All Sip N Stroll efforts raise funds for The Ballard House including silent auction and wine pull. One hundred percent of proceeds go directly to serve persons undergoing treatment for serious medical conditions by providing free housing. More than $250,000 has been raised for The Ballard House through Sip n Stroll efforts.

Highlights of this fall’s event include Bubbles @ Villagio, presented by The Rustic Brush, featuring sparkling wines, champagne and food tastings, The Beer Club with VIP premium craft beer selections for serious enthusiasts, culinary serving stations by participating restaurants, and a silent auction and wine pull benefiting The Ballard House. Attendees will be treated to live music on three stages from Robert Hartye (Aruba Tourism Courtyard Stage), Kristen Hart (Back Street Stage) and Gabe Montoya (Cane Island Stage).

Tickets include a keepsake glass and an all-inclusive culinary and wine sampling experience from 6-9 pm starting at $35. Patrons have the option to upgrade to the Mercantil Bank VIP Zone for premium wine and food selections, relaxed seating as well as access to all festivities one hour before general admission guests arrive. VIP ticket holders also recieve a swag bag.

Thanks to our partners, the experience provides the Aruba Live Music Stage, Cane Island Home Zone with Bathfitters and Renewal by Andersen, Bubbles @ Villagio presented by The Rustic Brush, Porsche of West Houston as Official Automotive Partner, Keller Williams Premier providing the Official Photo Booth and supporting sponsors Global Exchange Travel, Smile Doctors and Southern Journey. Sponsorships, restaurant enrollment and vendor participation are still available.
