Nandina makes donation to Historic Aiken Foundation
Nandina Home & Design, an interior design firm and retail shop in downtown Aiken, recently donated $4,830 to the Historic Aiken Foundation.
Funds for the donation were the proceeds from Nandina’s annual Love Local Week that takes place in February of every year.
The purpose of the Historic Aiken Foundation is to encourage the protection, preservation, and appreciation of the architectural heritage of Aiken.
The Historic Foundation acts as an advocate for structures of historical and architectural significance, and for the integrity of neighborhoods and the aesthetic appeal of the City.
Established in 2006, Nandina offers an edited collection of fine home furnishings, accessories, art, and gifts. The owners are Jim and Susan Victor and Sue Shannon. Nandina “is proud to be able to support and give back to the community of Aiken, S.C.,” according to a press release.
