Chubbuck Police seek three people in relation to shooting
Early this morning Officers with the Chubbuck Police Department responded to a residence in the 4600 block of Ponderosa for the report of a shooting.
Shortly after midnight we received a 911 call from an adult male who was reporting that he had been shot. Our Officers along with Deputies with the Bannock County Sheriff’s Office responded to the residence and secured the scene for medical personnel to treat the victim. Ultimately the victim was transported via ambulance to the emergency room where he is currently hospitalized. Further information regarding his condition is not being released at this time.
Our investigation into this matter has been ongoing since the shooting and we are still following up on several leads.
We are asking for the public’s assistance in locating three individuals who may have information related to the shooting.
The first is Kane Simons, 20. Simons is described as white male who is 6’6” 200 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. Simons is believed to be armed and dangerous.
The second individual is Day Witt, 19, a white female who is 5’5” 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
The third individual is Alana Heyrend, 19, a white female who is 5’7” 190 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. Heyrend is known to operate a yellow 2001 Ford Focus with Idaho license plate 1BAT241.
It is unknown if the three individuals listed are currently together or not.
