Joe Biden to march in Pittsburgh Labor Day parade
Former Vice President Joe Biden will march in Pittsburgh’s Labor Day parade.
Biden will participate in a private fundraiser over the weekend with U.S. Sen. Bob Casey, D-Scranton, who is also marching in the parade, according to a spokesman for Casey’s campaign.
Biden and Casey will then make the rounds at union picnics scheduled after the parade, the spokesman said.
The event is billed as one of the largest Labor Day parades in the country, and will include a number of other local politicians.
The parade starts at 10 a.m. Monday at the corner of Centre Avenue and Crawford Street and ends at the corner of Boulevard of the Allies and Stanwix Street.
