Toole woman killed in single-vehicle rollover near Erda
ERDA, Utah (AP) — The Utah Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the cause of a single-vehicle rollover crash that claimed the life of a Tooele woman on State Route 36 near Erda.
The patrol says 33-year-old Jennifer Charmley died from injuries she suffered in the crash Wednesday afternoon.
Investigators say she was driving an SUV north of Tooele when she apparently lost control and overcorrected twice before sliding off the shoulder. The vehicle rolled over and came to rest on its wheels.
Authorities say motorists who saw the crash pulled over to help but Charmley was pronounced dead at the scene.
