LITTLE ROCK, Ark. _ Arkansas’ governor and legislative leaders say they don’t expect another funding fight over the future of the state’s Medicaid expansion, even if a federal judge blocks the state from enforcing a work requirement on the program. LITTLE ROCK, Ark._ A former Arkansas lawmaker has been charged with conspiracy in an alleged bribery scheme with an ex-judge who admitted to lowering a jury’s judgment in a negligence lawsuit in exchange for campaign contributions. 500 words.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. _ The interim director of Arkansas’ parole agency has been selected to officially lead the department. The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports that the Board of Corrections on Thursday unanimously named Kevin Murphy as director of Arkansas Community Correction. The department oversees more than 60,000 parolees and probationers. 250 words.
