Same time, same spot
John “Treewalker” Adams, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, has been coming to Darlington and camping in the same spot for approximately 12 years.
He said he likes his spot in turn 1 because it backs up against a fence, and there is only person camping next to him, and hospitality suites are nearby. He and his friends also like their spot because sometimes there are wrecks in the corner.
Adams said he comes to Darlington to watch the races, to meet people and to see old friends.
His favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt Jr., but he retired, leaving Adams to cheer for Chase Elliott.
