NEW YORK (AP) — — A sacrifice fly from Manny Machado was all that the Baltimore Orioles needed, as the team with the worst record in the majors beat the New York Mets, 1-0, to sweep a two-game interleague series. Dylan Bundy was stellar over seven scoreless innings, holding the Mets to three hits while striking out five and walking three. He was sharp through most of the afternoon before running into trouble in the seventh.

CLEVELAND (AP) — On a beautiful day in Cleveland, Carlos Carrasco struck out 10 and allowed one run in seven innings as the Indians defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 3-1. Carrasco, who is now 7-4, worked out of a bases-loaded jam in the second and threw inning-ending double play balls in the fifth and seventh. The right-hander pumped his fist after Lorenzo Cain bounced into a double play on his 109th and final pitch.

CLEVELAND (AP) — With Cleveland down 2-0 to Golden State in the NBA Finals, Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue plans to switch up his rotation and play forward Rodney Hood, whose role has been reduced since the start of the postseason. No team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit to win a playoff series and LeBron James acknowledges the Cavs are facing a “tall task” against the Warriors, who are seeking their second straight title and third in four years.

LANSING, Mich. (AP)— Three former Michigan State University football players accused in the sexual assault of a woman have avoided jail time after pleading guilty. Josh King, Donnie Corley Jr. and Demetric Vance were sentenced today to three years’ probation, as well as sex offender treatment and therapy. They pleaded guilty in April to seducing an unmarried woman, a reduced charge, stemming from an incident last year.
