January 11, 2019

The Golden Harvest Food Bank recently received a donation of 14,000 half-gallons of milk, which they will be distributing in Aiken on Friday.

The drive-thru distribution will take place at 81 Capital Drive. According to Golden Harvest staff, the donation contains multiple types of milk: whole, 2 percent, 1 percent and skim varieties.

The event is free and open to the public. Participants do not have to be a part of a Golden Harvest Food Bank partner agency and are not restricted to low-income requirements to participate.
