Sisolak schedules State of the State address on Jan. 16
CARSON CITY, Nevada — Nevada Gov.-elect Steve Sisolak will deliver his first State of the State address at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16, in the Assembly Chambers of the Nevada Legislature.
“Since his historic election in November, Governor-elect Sisolak has been hard at work to assemble a cabinet and staff, shape the state budget, and put plans in place for a policy agenda that will support Nevada families,” said transition committee Press Secretary Grigsby Crawford. “His first State of the State address as governor will be an opportunity to detail those policy priorities for the upcoming legislative session as well as his vision for Nevada.”
Viewers will be able to stream the State of the State address online at gov.nv.gov. Further details will be released closer to the address.
Sisolak has lived in Nevada for over 40 years. He served on the Nevada Board of Regents for 10 years, followed by nine years on the Clark County Commission, where he currently serves as chairman. Sisolak’s commission district includes Laughlin.
