NEW YORK, June 05, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Smartling, a translation technology innovator, today announced the company’s CEO and Co-Founder Jack Welde will present at the upcoming LocWorld37, taking place June 7-8 at the Hilton Warsaw Hotel and Convention Centre. Smartling will also be exhibiting at the event in booths #216 and #218.

On Thursday, June 7 at 9 am, Welde will host a discussion title “ Test, Test, Test: How A/B Testing Can Showcase Localization Value,” with presenter Patricia Gómez Jurado, head of Content and Localization at eDreams ODIGEO. Attendees will hear what localization teams can learn from A/B testing, how to measure multilingual content impact, and how content A/B testing is a new area where localization can add value.

Welde will also be present “ Why Data is Like a Fortune Teller,” later in the day at 1:30 pm with panelists from Bang & Olufsen and Alfresco Software; hosted by Jaap van der Meer, founder of the Translation Automation User Society (TAUS). The panel will discuss and examine applications of machine learning for predicting translation quality.

“While 94% of companies are planning to increase their localization expenditures this year, over half of them find the content localization process to be too manual, too slow and unable to keep pace with their expansion efforts,” said Welde, Smartling CEO and co-founder. “I’m excited to share best practices and strategies companies with global expansion aspirations can leverage to improve their localization efforts and meet global growth objectives.”

LocWorld37 Warsaw brings together delegates who are responsible for communicating across the boundaries of language and culture in the global marketplace. Five hundred executives from around the world are expected to attend.
